- The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and Caribbean Network of Fisherfolk Organisations (CNFO) have agreed that the CNFO will provide certain services defined in the expected activities of the GCP/GLO/965/SWE project ‘Creating an enabling environment for securing sustainable small-scale fisheries.
- Three (3) national workshops were hosted using the CNFO’s Leadership Institute in Anguilla, Jamaica, and St. Kitts and Nevis. The first national workshop was hosted using the CNFO’s Leadership Institute in Anguilla on the 8th, 10th, and 15th of March 2022 face to face. The second national workshop was hosted using the CNFO’s Leadership Institute in Jamaica on the 13th, and 16th of June 2022 face-to-face and on the 30th of June virtually. The third national workshop was hosted using the CNFO Leadership Institute in St. Kitts and Nevis on August 24th and 25th 2022 face to face and on the 22nd of September 2022 virtually. The facilitators Mitchell Lay and supported by Nadine Nembhard were connected to all the sessions via Zoom.
